Unique Sardinia 2019-20 Home Kit Released

The Sardinia National Team this month revealed their new jersey for 2019-2020. The kit is made by local brand EYE Sportwear.

Sardinia will wear the jersey at the tournament of independent nations organized by CONIFA, the Confederation of Independent Football Association. Sardinia joined CONIFA organization in autumn 2018. The 2019 CONIFA European Football Cup will be their first international tournament appearance.

Produced by EYE exclusively for Sardinia, the new home kit is white with a green the geometric flower pattern, typical of many Sardinian craft objects and a symbol of hope for rebirth.

The crest combines some of the symbols of Sardinian culture, such as the four Moor's heads and the cross of San Giorgio, at the center of which is the eradicated tree, effigy of the Giudicato of Arborea, the last of the independent states that were formed in Sardinia after the fall of the Byzantine Empire. The Sardinian words "Natzionale sarda de Bòcia" ("Sardinian national football team"), placed in the upper part of the emblem.

White shorts and flash green / dark green socks complete the fresh look of the Sardinia 2019-20 home jersey.

EYE also released a red Sardinia 2019-2020 training jersey.
