With the 2018-2019 season going into its last phase, the first 2019-2020 kit releases are no far away. Many next season's kits from both Adidas and Nike have already been leaked, and there were also a couple of national team kit releases in 2019. We compare the 2019 kit designs of Adidas and Nike.

Most of the Adidas kits for 2019 and the 2019-2020 season follow a modern approach - the Argentina, Mexico, Man Utd, Juventus and other leaked / released kits are rather fresh than classic. Nike, meanwhile, is set to release both revolutionary modern (FC Barcelona) as well as classic-inspired kits (1990s-inspired third jersey, FC Barcelona away).
