Too Similar? Leaked Adidas Manchester United 19-20 vs 15-16 Third Kit
On Sunday night, the Adidas Manchester United 19-20 third kit for the 2019-20 season got leaked. It boasts a modern and stylish look in black and bright red that is remarkably similar to a Manchester United third shirt Adidas released just a few years ago.
The Adidas Manchester United 15-16 third shirt was the first third jersey from Adidas after they replaced Nike. It featured a black and orange look with a graphic print inspired by one of Man Utd's famous 1990s kits.
Adidas Manchester United 19-20 vs 15-16 Third Jerseys
Both the Manchester United 2015-2016 and 2019-2020 third kits are predominantly black with bright logos. The main differences are that the 19-20 Man Utd uses a more reddish and less orange color tone and that is comes with less colorful elements in overall - the monochrome color version of the Man Utd crest is inverted, while the Three Stripes and the sleeve cuffs are anthracite.
Interestingly, both jersey come with a subtle graphic print. The 19-20 third is inspired by the Manchester Rose, while the 15-16 third is inspired by the iconic 1990-1992 away kit.
However, while the Adidas Manchester United 15-16 third shirt featured remarkable fading shorts, the shorts of the Manchester United 19-20 third kit are set to be simple. The socks will be black and not white.
