All-New Serie A Logo 2019 Revealed

Serie A yesterday evening revealed a brand-new logo. The new Serie A 2019 logo features an all-new look that is totally different to the previous branding, created in collaboration with design agency Ragù Communication.

"The Serie A TIM, one of the most beautiful championships in the world, represents a heritage not only for Italy, but for the whole international sports universe. Its strength, the element that distinguishes it from all other tournaments and makes it a brand with bursting strength is its name, with the "A" absolute protagonist as a universally distinctive element."

A whole new look, the new Serie A 2019-2020 logo puts the 'A' in the center stage. Below the strong letter A is the Italian flag and the lettering Serie A. It is an edgy and unique look that gives the league a new identity.

The new logo has been developed in collaboration with the agency Ragù Communication.

"The "A" strengthens its centrality and is represented as a diamond, perfect and precious, full of facets that increase its value and symbolize the teams and champions that make our Championship unique. At the base, the perspective from the bottom draws an inverted pyramid, the tip of which rests ideally on the tricolour strip that separates the logo from the name Serie A."

"The logo presented today is a further step towards the new identity of Lega Serie A, a historic brand recognized throughout the world by millions of fans and enthusiasts - said the President of Lega Serie A, Gaetano Miccichè. "The new challenges to be faced are the achievement of increasingly large international markets and the recognition of our product at a global level."

The new Serie A logo is set to be used from the 2019-2020 season. We expect that the other competitions Italian club organized by Lega (Serie B, C, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa and Primavera Championship) will also get the new look.

"The new logo is characterized by a dynamic and modern character and best represents the new identity of the League Serie A - said the CEO of the League Serie A, Luigi De Siervo. "We have also decided to reward the best players of the Serie A TIM, the protagonists who contribute to making our Championship among the most fascinating in the world".

Serie A also announced that his year's Lega Serie A will reward the best players in Serie A TIM, paying homage to them with a trophy created by Iaco Group. Serie A will award the best goalkeeper, defender, striker and midfielder, the best young player and the best player of the entire championship.
