Hummel will make Cambridge United's kits from the 2019-20 season for four years until the end of the 2022-23 season.
As the Club's Technical Partner, Hummel will supply the playing kit and training wear for Cambridge United's first team and all other Cambridge teams from next season.
The new Cambridge United kits will be made using Hummel's world leading ZeroH20 technique, which enables the production of Cambridge United's kits to be sustainable - without the use of water in the dying process. More about this will be announced in due course, alongside all of Hummel's UK partner clubs.
Cambridge United COO Henry Comfort commented: "After an extremely thorough tender process, we are pleased to be announcing the biggest commercial kit deal in the Football Club's history with Hummel ahead of the start of the new season.
"Hummel are a resurgent, high quality, and on-trend brand whom Cambridge United are yet to have been associated with before. Therefore, it will be great to start this "Next Chapter" campaign alongside them, as we embark on a summer of change.
"Any football team's kit forms a key part of a Club's identity. In recognition of this, we wanted to ensure that our chosen partner could produce truly bespoke kits, in order to give our fans kits which are unique and consistent with Cambridge United's history. We were delighted to agree upon this with Hummel.
"We have been incredibly impressed with their operation and service thus far, and are looking forward to partnering with a brand determined to achieve excellence across the range of kit worn by both our fans and players alike."
Pleased to be partnering with Cambridge United, Commercial Director of Hummel Neil Burke commented: "We are extremely proud to have been chosen as the new Technical Partner. At Hummel we pride ourselves in doing things a little differently by adding that extra twist and a bit of character to all that we do. Over the next 4 years we will provide players, staff and most importantly the supporters with an exceptional range of products both on and off the field."

Puma Kits Keep Ripping at the 2026 World Cup
Puma is facing significant criticism at the 2026 World Cup as multiple national team jerseys have easily ripped during matches.
Incidents involving players from Czechia, Morocco, Egypt, and Paraguay have highlighted an ongoing durability issue with the brand's latest kits - every torn shirt in the tournament so far belongs to a Puma-sponsored team.
The Puma 2026 World Cup kits incorporate the latest version of PUMA's ULTRAWEAVE “Thermoadapt” technology, which obviously is not tear-resistant enough.
The recurring wardrobe malfunctions have resulted in terrible PR for the German sportswear manufacturer and even prompted the viral resurgence of Xherdan Shaqiri's infamous quote from Euro 2016, where he joked that he hopes Puma does not produce condoms.

The collection is completed by a solid blue away kit, a maroon third kit, and a black alternative fourth kit, offering a wide variety of options for the upcoming campaign.

Unique Svolme Delsalma-4 LE Boots Spotted at 2026 World Cup
During the 2026 World Cup, an extremely rare pair of football boots was spotted on the feet of Japanese player Junnosuke Suzuki in Monterrey, Mexico. The boots in question are the Svolme Delsalma-4 LE, a limited-edition release from the Japanese sports brand Svolme. Suzuki's pair is one of only 1,248 produced globally, making it a highly exclusive model on the international stage. Thanks to @abcdefutbol.
The Svolme Delsalma-4 LE is designed as a touch-focused boot, featuring a premium kangaroo leather upper that provides a soft and natural feel on the ball. The brand, which is well-known in Japan but rarely seen in major global competitions, released this limited run to coincide with the tournament in North America. Suzuki’s choice to wear the Delsalma-4 LE highlights a unique piece of Japanese football equipment during the biggest international competition.
