All-New Belgium Logo Revealed - 2020 Kit Debut Imminent

As we approach the release of the bold 2020 Euro kit, the Belgium Football Association officially unveiled its all-new logo and visual identity.

The release of the new logo and visual identity to back it up coincides with the 125th anniversary of the Royal Belgium Football Association in 2020 which will also see the further expansion of the Belgian Football Center in Tubize.

It is not about a radical revolution, but rather an evolution, since the three most important elements from the old emblem of the Football Association - crown, wreath and Belgian tricolor - were preserved. The letters KBVB and URBSFA make way for the more international sounding RBFA (Royal Belgian Football Association).

Besides the main logo, the emblems of the federation's three other brands - Red Devils, the Red Flames and the 1895 Official Belgian Fan Club - have also been updated to fit in with the newly established style.

Manu Leroy, Marketing & Communication Director Royal Belgian Football Association commented on the new logo(s): “Over the years, the Football Association has developed many new brands: Red Devils, Red Flames and 1895. They each received their own logo that was completely separate from the style of the KBVB. As a result, a clear visual identity has been lost. As part of our 125th anniversary, we are therefore launching a new branding with four new refreshed logos to visually represent the large family that we are. The clear line style of cartoonist Hergé makes our new identity completely Belgian."

The Belgium Euro 2020 home kit will be launched shortly, with the brand-new logo sitting on the left chest.
