Besiktas To Lose Vodafone Main Kit Sponsor
Turkish club Besiktas are set to have a new main sponsor in the 2019-20 season, according to media reports from the country. Vodafone is set to be replaced by Bahçeşehir Koleji.
Bahcesehir Koleji is a private school located on the European side of Istanbul, Turkey. Bahçeşehir was Besiktas' shorts sponsor last season. Vodafone had been Besiktas' main sponsor since five years.
Bahçeşehir Koleji To Become New Besiktas Main Sponsor
According to information from Turkish media, Vodafone has decided against main sponsoring Besiktas after five years. The reason for the decision is that because of the bad Lira and its increased exchange rate, the company demanded a discount to return to TL. This request was not accepted by the management of Besiktas.
This also pretty much confirms the 'leaked' images of the Besiktas 2019-20 home kit show a fake.
It is not known how the logo of the Bahcesehir Koleji will look like on the Besiktas' 2019-20 jerseys.
