Cupra To Replace Audi As FC Barcelona Car Sponsor
In February, it was reported that Audi would stop sponsoring FC Barcelona after 13 years. Now the name of the one that will replace Audi has been revealed: Cupra.
Volkswagen-Owned Seat Car Brand Cupra To Become New Barça Car Sponsor
Cupra is a brand of Seat, a Martorell-based subsidiary of the Spanish car manufacturer Seat. Seat is owned by Volkswagen, who are owning Audi, previous Barça sponsor. The Cupra brand was launched at the beginning of 2018 as new car brand for all motorsport activities of Seat.
Audi were uncomfortable with sponsoring Barça because "there are many images of players arriving at the Camp Nou and the Ciutat Esportiva instead of with the Audi they have been given, with another model."

FC Barcelona's sponsorship agreement with Cupra is not official yet. However, Barcelona shared a video on Instagram that practically confirms the deal.
