Update: David Luiz made his first official match for his new club Arsenal wearing the Adidas Copa 19.1 soccer cleats. This certainly means that he has joined Adidas.

Interestingly, David Luiz had two different boot silos with him for the match, as pictures from Arsenal's locker room reveal - the Adidas Copa 19.1 as well as the Adidas Predator 19.1.

David Luiz had been wearing the same discontinued Nike Magista football boots for months now, indicating that he has no valid boot contract. He had been a Nike guy since ever we remember.

David Luiz Wears Adidas Predator and Nemeziz Boots At First Arsenal Match

Warming up for the game against Newcastle United yesterday, David Luiz was not wearing his beloved Nike Magista football boots but the Adidas Predator 19.1 from the Hard Wired Pack. This is usually a clear indicator that he will join the Three Stripes.

While he had worn the Adidas Predator 19.1 in training prior to the Newcastle trip, he was seen sporting the Nemeziz 19.1, also from Adidas, after the game.

So, while everything indicates that Luiz will change his boot brand, he seems to not have made his mind up yet on the silo side of things.
