Griezmann Not Allowed To Take Over Barca's #7 Kit

Coutinho was officially announced as Bayern Munich player today. The Brazilian will get Bayern Munich's No. 10 shirt after he wore the No.7 shirt for FC Barcelona. However, if you might have thought that Antonie Griezmann now could get his No. 7 kit, this won't be the case,
Coutinho was presented as FC Barcelona player two years ago. He received the No. 7 shirt back then.
Griezmann Already Registered as No. 17 With Spanish Federation
It was suggested that Griezmann could take Coutinho's number 7 jersey. However, this is not possible as the Spanish federation has officially registered Griezmann with number 17. It is not possible to change the number of a player during the season.
Next season, however, at least if Bayern Munich would sign Coutinho on a permanent basis, we think it is well possible that Antonie Griezmann could get the #7 shirt.
