Limited-Edition Puma King Platinum Romelu Lukaku Signature Boots Released

Following his move to Inter Milan, Puma have honored Romelu Lukaku with his own pair of limited-edition signature boots based on the recently introduced King Platinum silo.

Inspired by the boots worn by Lukaku's dad when he used to play in Belgium in the early 1990s, the new cleats are black with a white outsole and white accents.

Lukaku said of the new boots: “Indirectly I feel connected with the shoes. My Dad was wearing these shoes scoring goals with the these in the Belgium First Division. In the year I was born in ’93, he was wearing these shoes basically.

“At a later age me and my dad would wear the same size shoe. For a good 4 to 4 years we used to share boots. It’s nice to see the new version of these compared to the version my father would wear.”

Lukaku will wear the new boots for one game only, the Serie A opener against Lecce later this month.
