Not A Great Fit | Arsenal Uses Volt Numbers On Adidas 2019-20 Third Kit
Arsenal debuted their Adidas 2019-20 third jersey away against Liverpool last weekend. The match was not successful for the Gunners as they lost 3-1 - we take a look at how the kit looked on the pitch.
Volt Numbers - Arsenal Adidas 2019-20 Third Kit - On Pitch
The Adidas 2019-20 third jersey did not look as stylish as on the release images as Arsenal had to combine the navy and dark yellow jersey with quite unfitting Volt Premier League numbers.
The reason for Arsenal to use Volt numbers is that the official Premier League typeface for jerseys is only available in five different color combos - white, black, red, navy and hi-vis yellow.
Another detail that disturb us was that the numbers on the shorts were a bit squashed.
However, if Arsenal will wear the kit in the UEFA Europa League or the FA Cup, we will see it with correct colored numbers and letters as Arsenal is then allowed to use their own font.
Should the English Premier League offer more colors? Should Arsenal have opted for white numbers? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
