Nike Mercurial Dream Speed 2 Boots Revealed - CR7 & Mbappé

It looks like Unisport jumped the gune a couple of days ago, but the rest of the retailers and Nike have finally followed suit in unveiling the new 'Dream Speed 2' Mercurial Superfly and Vapor boots, which will be available to buy from tomorrow, February 20.

Just like the first edition, the Nike Mercurial Dream Speed 'Lemon Venom' soccer cleats will be worn exclusively by Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé and Sam Kerr.

On 30 September 2019, Nike released a unique 'Mercurial Dream Speed' edition for the Nike Mercurial 360 football boot.

Nike Mercurial Superfly Dream Speed 2 - Lemon Venom / Aurora / Black

This picture shows the second Nike Mercurial Dream Speed edition, 'Lemon Venom'.

After the first MDS boots boasted an outstanding yet rather 'dark' 'Blue Void & Metallic Silver' color combo, the second Dream Speed Nike Mercurial is much more brighter - the boots are mainly 'Lemon Venom', a bright Volt-like color. Nike combines the main color with different shades of green, and orange, creating a truly design.

From the bottom, the boots look even more interesting thanks to the unique graphic pattern and the two-plate design. According to Nike, the colors on the Nike Mercurial Dream Speed 2 boots reprsent the various frequencies of light and their speed. The speed of light (299,792,458 meters per second) is written in the outline of the Swoosh.

Tech-wise, the second Nike Mercurial Dream Speed boots are the same as all other editions (regular colorways & MDS #001 boots).
