Instead Of Long Sleeve Kit - Umbro Produces 'Undershirts' With Kit Design For Bundesliga Club Schalke 04
Update: Our follower and Schalke fan @Luca_I904 made us aware that Schalke 04 is selling the baselayer with the kit design in their online store. A first for the club, "the functional shirt in the style of our home jersey can be worn under the jersey during the cold months."

Umbro Schalke 04 2019-2020 Baselayer With Kit Design - Player's Exclusive?
All Schalke 04 players who wore non-short sleeve shirts were wearing a special baselayer with the design of the sleeves of the FC Schalke 04 kit. The reason for that is very simple - Umbro wanted the kit design to be continued on the sleeves despite players wearing baselayers.
However, while it seems to be nothing really extraordinary at first glance, it was looking very uncommon for us as we have never seen a team or brand doing this.
In fact, it is often criticized by some kit nerds, especially by Twitter 'kit police' Kit Crimes, that players are wearing baselayers instead of long-sleeve shirts as does not look for teams like Celtic with hoops on the sleeves...
No FC Schalke 04 player was wearing regular long-sleeve kits. In fact, it seems that Umbro does not even offer a long-sleeve version of the Schalke 04 2019-2020 kits.
The Umbro FC Schalke 04 19-20 kit baselayers appears to be not available to buy. They have been produced for the players only.
