Yesterday, the draw for the group stage of the 2020 Copa Libertadores took place. With it, the official 2020 Copa Libertadores football was revealed - the Nike Merlin 2020 Copa Libertadores Ball.

The new combines a white base with black brandings. The unique feature of the bespoke ball are small orange and red hexagons that cover a large part of its surface.
Tech-wise, the Nike Merlin 2020 Copa Libertadores Ball is the same as the Nike 2019-2020 Premier League ball and all other modern Nike Merlin footballs.
We expect the Nike Merlin 2020 Copa Libertadores soccer ball to be available to buy from early 2020.

Update - Sunday, May 17, 2026: The checkered design has won Konyaspor's 26-27 special kit vote, it was announced by the club.
Turkish Super Lig side Konyaspor has officially handed the design reins to its supporters by launching a fan vote to select the club's 2026-27 alternative kit, with three bespoke Hummel designs currently up for debate.
The "Anatolian Eagles" are offering a diverse menu of choices: a vibrant green-and-white checkered pattern that evokes a classic retro feel, a clean half-and-half vertical split with intricate chevron detailing on the sleeves, and a minimalist white base featuring a sharp green horizontal band across the chest.
In a nod to the club's heritage, the poll is scheduled to close this Friday, May 15 at exactly 19:22 - a tribute to the club’s founding year.
