Saga Continues - Coutinho Switches Kits During Match - Child's Size Replica & Authentic
Update 2: The Coutinho shirt saga continues - he now switched shirts during half-time. In the first half against Freiburg, he was wearing the replica jersey. When he was substituted right before the end, he was wearing the authentic version. Thanks to our follower Christoph for the spot.
Update: Following on our report on Coutinho wearing the replica version of the FC Bayern Munich 2019-20 home kit, more details have been revealed. In fact, Coutinho is not only wearing a replica kit - he is even wearing the Kids' version of the shirt in Size 176. But why?
Normally all FC Bayern Munich professionals play in the "Authentic" version of the jersey. However, the club orders many of these jersey sets long before the first round starts. For late summer newcomers - such as Ivan Perisic, Mickael Cuisance and Philippe Coutinho - it was then only possible to reorder at short notice.
Coutinho also played the first home games for Bavaria in the red "Authentic" jersey, but noticed at the kit man that this version with a tight cut didn't fit him very well. So the Bavarians resorted to the "Replica"-Line of the home jersey from the fanshop - this version obviously fitted the Brazilian better.
Therefore, the 1.72 meter Brazilian will be wearing the version from the fan shop until the end of the year - and that in child size 176 for "only" 70 Euro.
Against Wolfsburg Coutinho will probably be the last time in his fan shirt - FC Bayern has already ordered new jersey sets for the second half of the season, then with the right size for Coutinho.
Original Article - Spotted: Bayern Munich's Coutinho Uses Replica "Fan" Kit Version
If you watched highlights of the German Bundesliga this weekend, you surely also saw images of FC Bayern Munich midfielder Philippe Coutinho. One of our followers, a huge supporter of Bayern Munich, noticed that something was not usual with the jerey of the Brazilian superstar.
Coutinho Wears Replica "Fan" Kit Version Against Bremen
Philippe Coutinho did not use the authentic jersey but the replica (fan) version of the Adidas Bayern Munich 2019-20 home kit. The replica version features non heat-applied logos / Three Stripes as well as a different material.
We are not sure what were the reasons for Coutinho to use the replica jersey. It might be the cold temperatures in Munich, but that is just a "stupid guess" by us. Coutinho's team mate Joshua Kimmich also used the replica kit against SC Werder Bremen, interestingly.
In other matches, Coutinho used the authentic version of the Bayern kit.

Portuguesa 2026 Third Kit Released - Tribute to Portugal Ahead of 2026 World Cup
Brazilian club Associação Portuguesa de Desportos, commonly known as Portuguesa, has officially launched its new third kit for the 2026 season. Produced by technical sponsor Joma, the new uniform pays direct homage to the Portuguese national team, celebrating the club's deep historical roots as Portugal prepares to compete in the upcoming 2026 World Cup.
The new Portuguesa 2026 third jersey closely mirrors the classic look of the Portuguese national team, featuring a vibrant crimson red base enhanced by subtle jacquard detailing that provides a sense of movement to the fabric. The shirt is structured with a classic polo collar adorned with red and white edging and a green front point insert. The sleeves remain red with contrasting green underarm panels, while the cuffs match the collar's red and white trim.
Further solidifying the international tribute, the official coat of arms of Portugal is prominently displayed on the nape of the neck above the white player numbering. The alternative uniform is completed by green shorts and red socks, finalizing the classic Portuguese color scheme.
The kit is set to make its on-pitch debut this Saturday, May 16th, in a match against Água Santa.

Rubin Kazan 2025-26 Chemist's Day Special Kit Released
Russian Premier League side Rubin Kazan has officially unveiled a special-edition kit dedicated to the upcoming Chemist's Day. Created in collaboration with their general sponsor, Kazanorgsintez (one of Russia's largest chemical companies), the uniform is set to be worn during the club's final match of the 2025-2026 domestic season against Pari Nizhny Novgorod on May 17.
Produced in-house, the Rubin Kazan Chemist's Day kit introduces a fresh, delicate mint green base color, which is officially described as turquoise. The shirt's design is elevated by subtle textures and a geometric pattern directly inspired by the city's local urban infrastructure, specifically referencing the updated park territories around Lake Lebyazhye and the boulevard on Serova Street.
The club noted that the clean aesthetic was crafted with lifestyle appeal in mind.
The most striking elements of the kit are its bespoke thematic details that fully embrace the scientific motif. The collar features the special Russian slogan "Между нами химия" ("There is chemistry between us"). Additionally, in a brilliant nod to the holiday, the back of each player's shirt will display a unique chemical element from the periodic table that directly corresponds to their respective squad number.
