Does Adidas Not Supply 'Authentic' Shorts For Bayern München 19-20 Away Kit?
Our follower Karim made us aware of a pretty odd thing he noticed in the Bundesliga match between SC Paderborn and Bayern Munich...
FC Bayern Munich Away 19-20 Kit Shorts Not Prodced As Authentic
As very well spotted by Karim in the match, the shorts of FC Bayern Munich players were not as one would expected - Adidas seems to have not provided Bayern Munich with Authentic shorts for the away kit. "The shorts include a stitched badge and 'Adidas' logo, as well as stitched 3 stripes as opposed to the usual authentic shorts where everything is heat applied.
Karim also confirmed that the Bayern Ladies Team has faced the same issue, and when we checked images of the kit launch Bayern players were also wearing replica shorts.
Interestingly, a look at Bayern's home + third, the kits of Real Madrid and other Adidas top teams reveal that Bayern's away kit seems to be the only uniform of the Three Stripes that does just have replica shorts - all other Adidas teams have authentic shorts with heat-applied logos (it is the Adidas logo that is always heat-applied on authentic kits, see our article between the differences of Adidas authentic & replica kits).
