Roma And Juventus Wear Alternative Kits In Serie A Clash - Only Because Of Marketing Reasons?
If you watched yesterday's Serie A clash between AS Roma and Juventus as the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, you might have been confused. AS Roma were wearing their blue third kit, while Juventus wore their white / red away kit. Let us find out why.
The reason for Giallorossi (the red and yellows) to wear blue are simple - it was just because of marketing reasons, their 1990-s inspired Nike third kit is very popular and one of the best kits of the season for many.
The Bianconeri (Juventus - White And Blacks) wore their Adidas away kit, which is white with red writing and numbers.
It is very likely that Juventus would have been allowed to wear their home kit against the AS Roma's navy blue jersey. In fact, two matches already showed off that there would have been no problem with it - last season's duel on May 12 and this season's Women's match between AS Roma and Juventus.
It remains to be seen which kits Juventus and Roma will wear when Juventus will face AS Roma at home in the last match of the season. We strongly expect Juventus to wear their home and Roma to wear their third kit.
