Premier League Teams Wear Special Sleeve Badge To Support 'Heads Up' Campaign

If you watched the English Premier League this or last weekend, you might have noticed that all teams were wearing a special sleeve badge. Here is what it is all about.

Premier League Backs Heads Up Weekends Campaign

Dubbed the 'Heads Up' campaign, the Premier League is joining the wider football family in England to kick off a conversation around mental health. For their Matchweek 26 fixtures, Premier League club shirts replaced the PL badge on sleeves with that of Heads Up to raise awareness of the campaign. Referees and their assistants are wearing Heads Up badges over the two weekends of Matchweek 26.

The Heads Up campaign includes not only special badges but also several other actions such as conversions and meetings with people who have been supported by mental health programmes run by Premier League clubs.

Every football team from across the Premier League, EFL, The National League, The Barclays FA Women's Super League, The FA Women's Championship and The FA Women's National League is involved in the Heads Up campaign.
