Grêmio Postpones Launch Of Umbro 2020 Kits Due To Coronavirus Pandemic
Earlier this month, we already reported that it is very likely that the launch of the 2020 international jerseys by Adidas, Puma and Nike would take place later than initially planned due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Now Brazilian newspaper Globo Esporte reports that Brazilian club Gremio will postpone the launch of their 2020 jerseys.
Gremio Postpones 2020 Kit Launch That Was Intended For Late March
According to Globo Esporte, Gremio has begun talks with Umbro about the postponement of the kit release and is set confirm the postponement of the launch of the new shirts for the season soon. Gremio and Umbro had a forecast to release the new kits for 2020 at the end of March.
The heart of the matter, of course, is the new coronavirus pandemic . The increase in cases around the world worries management, which sees no possibility of launching in this context. Also due to the need for seclusion of people, purchases would be exclusively online.
