On Saturday, it was announced by Rangers that they have managed to leave Sportsdirect, and that they will sign a deal with a new brand to replace Hummel. "Castore" is the brand reported to become Rangers' new kit maker - let us find out who they are.

Who are Castore?
Castore is a Premium Sportswear brand founded by Liverpudlian brothers Phil and Tom Beaton in 2016. Both of the founders have a sporting background. The founders' vision is to build Castore into a brand respected across the globe.

Castore might be best known because of Scottish tennis star Andy Murray, who is a shareholder of Castore. He entered the partnership in January 2019.
He said: "The AMC brand combines my lifelong passion for tennis with Castore's commitment to advanced engineering and product excellence. AMC creates tennis products for tennis loves and it is without doubt the best kit I have ever worn."
Design + Products:
Castore is offering a range of different products for various sports, with the focus currently on tennis and golf gear.
The most important range is the Andy Murray range, called AMC. The AMC collection includes practically all apparel a tennis player needs. AMC will be exclusively worn by Andy Murray for all on court and off court activities.
The designs of Castore and AMC are "celebrating the glory years of tennis (and other sports) with advanced technical capabilities suitable for the most demand modern day players".
All in all, it can be said that Castore offers "classic and classy looks with the latest technical features."
Castore's most hyped product is the "Waterproof Garcia Hoody", a hoodie made "from a unique patented fabric that is waterproof yet lighter than most training tees to deliver the ultimate hybrid training garment".
Pricing:
As high as the claims in terms of quality are the prices of Castore - running tees retail at around 80 Euro, the Waterproof Hoody has a retail price of 220 Euro.
Plans:
Castore wants to sign its first football deals in time for the new 2020/21 football season They are aiming to become the official kit supplier of teams from the English Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga.
The premium sportswear brand has raised £7.5m from undisclosed private investors to accelerate a move into professional team sports.
In addition to top fight football, they are also targeting international rugby and cricket federations.

The release completes the club's new wardrobe alongside the previously launched home and away jerseys, all produced under the club's own in-house brand following the end of their partnership with Umbro.
The CD FAS 26-27 third jersey is predominantly bright blue, complemented by contrasting red side panels and shoulder accents. Fine white piping borders the colored panels, echoing the white and blue overlapping V-neck collar and matching sleeve trim. The shirt features the club crest on the left chest and FAS branding on the right, accompanied by several white sponsor logos across the front and back.

Adelaide United has officially unveiled its new home kit for the 2026-27 A-League season, produced by UCAN. The latest design celebrates the club's deep connection to South Australia by taking inspiration from one of the city's most iconic architectural landmarks, the Victorian-era Palm House at the Adelaide Botanic Garden.

Nottingham Forest Announce Bally Bet Sleeve Sponsor Deal
Nottingham Forest have officially announced a two-season partnership with Bally’s Intralot, confirming them as the club's Official Sleeve Partner for the 26-27 and 27-28 campaigns.
As part of the agreement, the Bally Bet logo will appear on the sleeves of the men’s first-team shirts, while the Jackpotjoy branding will feature on the sleeves of the Nottingham Forest Women’s first team. The move follows Bally’s tenure as the club’s primary front-of-shirt sponsor during the 25-26 season.
With the Premier League’s ban on front-of-shirt gambling sponsorships coming into effect for the 26-27 season, Forest introduced Marex as their new front-of-shirt sponsor.
Shifting Bally's to the sleeve allows the club to extend their commercial partnership while adhering to the league's regulations, which continue to permit gambling brands on shirt sleeves.
