Arsenal Starts To Wear Training Bibs With Extremely Large Numbers - Possible Reasons Why
The Premier League will return to action soon. With it, all teams have already started team training some days ago. Now the numbers of Arsenal's 2020 training bibs raised our attention.
Arsenal Bibs Feature Oversized Numbers Since They Returned To Training
Arsenal's Adidas training bibs do not only feature a big Adidas logo and Fly Emirates sponsor but also the number of every player on the upper right. While this is nothing uncommon, the numbers on Arsenal's bib are extremely large.
The back of the bibs is plain back.
In fact, Arsenal used to training without numbers on their bibs before the Coronavirus pandemic stopped football in early March 2020 - when training resumed, they started to have those oversized numbers on their training bibs.
Large Numbers To Help In First Actual Matches?:
We think that the reason for Arsenal to have those large numbers on their bibs is to simulate a match-scene, in which players often have to recognize their teammate by just seeing the back of him, and his number.
