Charlotte FC - New Charlotte MLS Team Name, Logo & Colors Revealed

Charlotte’s Major League Soccer franchise is officially named Charlotte Football Club (FC), it has been announced announced today. In addition to revealing the club name, Charlotte FC unveiled the whole team branding, including its crest and colors with a live video show.
Charlotte FC is set to kick off its inaugural MLS season in 2022 and will play at Bank of America Stadium in the heart of Charlotte.
Charlotte FC - New MLS Expansion Team
The design inspiration for the Charlotte FC crest was derived from Charlotte’s unique history as the first American city to have its own branch of the United States Mint. The blue, black and white crest is in a circular shape, a modern interpretation of the historic coins made locally. In the center of the crest lies a four-point crown, a nod to the Queen City moniker and the historic four wards of Uptown Charlotte. The engraved typeface and Minted 2022 border mark are additional details paying homage to the club’s inaugural season.

This is a large and growing group of soccer fans who, like us, have a passion for the game and big goals and ambitions. We will keep building together with them and delivering a club to which they belong.”
“The Charlotte FC brand truly embodies our city with a design that reflects Charlotte’s rich history,” said Charlotte FC Owner David Tepper. “When we were awarded the team in December, I spoke about this club bringing the city together. To reach the point where our fans can actually know our name and see our colors is a significant milestone.”
Name & Colors
The new team will be named Charlotte Football Club, or Charlotte FC. The club will also adopt CLTFC as a secondary reference.
Four primary colors will identify the team: Carolina blue, black, silver and white.
CREST: Charlotte FC's crest and its clean, circular shape is inspired by a classical coin, recognizing the city's modern status as a major US financial capital as well as its history as the first American city with its own branch of the US Mint.
CROWN: The centerpiece of the crest is a four-point crown—the spires represent each of the four wards of Uptown Charlotte—symbolizing the royal legacy behind the city's name. Charlotte is the original Queen City named in honor of queen Charlotte Sophia of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, wife of Britain’s King George III, during the time of the city's founding in 1768.
TYPE: The engraved typography is a nod to Charlotte’s minting history, featuring a contemporary aesthetic with its white-on-black typeface.
MINTED 2022: The border mark commemorates the inaugural season of the club, while paying homage to the city’s coin-making past.

Louisville City 2026 Third Kit Released
USL Championship side Louisville City FC has officially unveiled its new Puma 2026 third kit, completing the team's jersey set for the 2026 season.
Dubbed the "Lightning Kit," the predominantly black uniform honors late club founder Wayne Estopinal and the former Louisville Lightning indoor soccer team that played from 2009 to 2012. The shirt features a subtle chevron stripe pattern across the front inspired by storm clouds, while striking yellow lightning bolts decorate the right sleeve. Rounding out the look with matching black shorts, the 2026 third jersey joins the previously released home and away options and is now available for purchase through the official club store.
Manchester United 26-27 Away Kit Teased
Manchester United has officially teased its upcoming 26-27 away kit, confirming that the new Adidas shirt will be released on Wednesday, 22 July 2026. Following a series of leaks and an early appearance by British rapper Stormzy wearing the unreleased shirt, the official launch will finally officially unveil the blue design that pays homage to the River Irwell and the club's classic 1988 away kit.

Raków Częstochowa 26-27 Home & Away Kits Released
Polish club Raków Częstochowa has officially released its new 26-27 home and away kits, made by Adidas. Launched under the slogan "Colors that oblige - this is our DNA, this is our identity," the new strips will be worn during the upcoming Ekstraklasa campaign.
The new Adidas Raków Częstochowa 26-27 home and away shirts both feature custom looks with Adidas' 2026 polo collar.
