Manchester United 20-21 Away Kit Is Inspired By Green / Yellow Newton Heath Kit & 3 Rivers Of Manchester
Manchester United will debut the new Adidas 2020-21 away kit in today's UEFA Europa League semi-final against Sevilla. The club and Adidas yesterday already revealed what inspired the new Man United 20-21 kit.
Imagery featuring the men’s and women’s team wearing the new shirt is based on away fan journeys using a range of transport, and the feeling of togetherness when joining fellow supporters on the road. While travelling to football matches is currently not possible, Adidas and United wanted to recognise the importance of the club’s legendary away following – and look forward to the day when they can again be loudly heard wherever the team is playing."
Manchester United 20-21 Away Kit Inspiration Officially Revealed
The Adidas Manchester United 2020-21 away kit features a "subtle engineered ‘legend earth green’ pattern, which is made up of an intricately hand-drawn and painted design. The colors and design were not chosen by accident, as revealed by Adidas.
The colors of the away jersey are inspired by the club's first-ever kit
The club’s first-ever kit under the Newton Heath name was green and yellow, and Adidas says our new away jersey takes its inspiration from that colour. It has been designed to look good wherever it is worn and aligns to the Adidas ethos of “stadium to street”.
The hand-drawn waves symbolise the three rivers of Manchester, Irwell, Irk and Medlock
The engineered pattern is integrating the current trend of hand-painted graphics and camouflage. The latter is made up of hand-drawn waves which symbolise the three rivers of Manchester, in the Irwell, Irk and Medlock, which all appear on the City of Manchester coat of arms.

FC Luzern 2026-27 Away Kit Released
The new FC Luzern 2026-27 away kit has been officially released. Made by Erreà, the shirt will be worn during the club's 26-27 Swiss Super League campaign and follows the release of their 125th-anniversary home kit earlier in May.
The Erreà FC Luzern 2026-27 away shirt draws inspiration from one of the city's most representative architectural landmarks, the Jesuit Church. It features a sophisticated tone-on-tone ornamental pattern that runs discreetly across the fabric. A striking blue vertical stripe, enhanced by a subtle golden trim, runs down the center of the shirt, paying homage to the club's traditional colors and adding a touch of elegance to the overall design.
The new Erreà FC Luzern 2026-27 away jersey successfully connects the club's local heritage with a contemporary aesthetic. The kit is currently available to purchase through the official club store.
