New pictures of the Manchester United third kit got leaked today. The kit's outstanding design was popular both on social media and for fans. But has Adidas stolen the Dazzle Camo design?

Minneapolis City SC '2020 Special Dazzle Kit' Features Similar Design As Manchester United 20-21 Third Kit

The Adidas Manchester United 20-21 third kit boasts a unique dazzle camo look. However, the dazzle camo design is very similar to a special kit from US lower-division club Minneapolis City, who compete in the United Premier Soccer League.

The eye-catching Dazzle Minneapolis City kit was designed specially for the U.S. Open Cup, America's longest-standing national soccer competition. It was not made by the club themselves but by Matt Wolff, who was also responsible for the design of the Nike Nigeria 2018 home shirt.

The Minneapolis City SC Dazzle kit was released in March 2020, a few months after there were the first leaks about the 'Dazzle Camo' Manchester United kit...

As it is the case for all big team's 2020-21 kits, Adidas already finished the main design process for Manchester United's third jersey more than one year ago, in summer 2019. Therefore, it is well possible that Matt Wolff got inspired by Adidas and not the other way round.

It is also possible that Matt Wolff designed both the Adidas Manchester United 20-21 3rd kit and the Minneapolis City SC '2020 Special Dazzle Kit", even though that is unlikely.
