The new deal, reported by The Guardian to be worth at least £1 billion, extends their agreement until at least 2035 and solidifies its place as one of the most lucrative in football history.

This new contract represents a significant increase for the Premier League champions and is believed to be the first £1bn kit deal in English football.

The new agreement will see Manchester City earn £100 million per year from PUMA. This is a marked increase from their previous £65m-a-year deal and makes it the most valuable kit contract in the Premier League on a per-year basis, surpassing Manchester United's deal with Adidas (worth approx. £90m a year).
