Hertha Berlin Finds New Main Sponsor For Rest Of Season
After months of searching, Hertha BSC has found a new shirt sponsor for the rest of the current season.
Homeday Logo To Be On Hertha Kits Until End Of 2020-21 Season
As announced on Monday, the brokerage company "Homeday" will join Hertha on January 1. After the commitment as a main sponsor, the Berlin company from the real estate industry joins the so-called exclusive partners from the next season. This commitment is initially contractually limited until the end of June 2024.
Hertha will receive 3 to 4 million euros by the end of the season
No details were given about the amount of the financial outlay, but according to "Bild" Hertha will receive 3 to 4 million euros by the end of the season.
"We are pleased that the good and intensive talks with Homeday could be brought to a successful conclusion," said Ingo Schiller, managing director of finance at Hertha BSC. "We are convinced that we will achieve our common goals with this long-term partnership."
The partnership was brokered by marketing agency SPORTFIVE
"I am delighted that the constructive talks with Homeday in close cooperation with Hertha BSC have now led to this pleasing result. Homeday is a high-growth, nationwide company that will show itself to be a committed and value-added partner on Hertha BSC's high-reach jersey breast," said Hendrik Schiphorst, managing director of SPORTFIVE Germany. SPORTFIVE has been Hertha BSC's marketing partner for many years and once again brokered the partnership with the new main sponsor.
Homeday replaces Tedi as Hertha BSC's main sponsor. At the end of July, Hertha officials had reached an agreement with the then main sponsor "Tedi" to terminate the contract early. The contract with the discounter would normally have been valid until the end of the current season. Tedi had been Hertha's main sponsor since 2018.
It remains to be seen who will take over the advertising space on the front of the jersey after "Homeday" next summer.

Nike and Kids of Immigrants Goalkeeper Jersey + Total 90 Shoes Released
Nike and streetwear label Kids of Immigrants have officially unveiled a comprehensive collaborative capsule collection. This wider release expands significantly upon the retro football aesthetic, offering a full range of apparel, accessories, and highly unique modified footwear.
The undeniable centerpiece of the expanded collection is the introduction of two bespoke slip-on mules, which draw heavy inspiration from the iconic Nike Total 90 football boot. The mules arrive in two distinct colorways: a muted beige and olive green iteration featuring a speckled sole, alongside a darker, glossy black and rich brown patent leather version. Both pairs are unified by a striking red and yellow outlined Swoosh on the midfoot and tongue, matching the vibrant accents found on the collection's primary jersey.
Rounding out the collaborative effort is a selection of matching apparel and accessories designed to complete the capsule. The standout piece of these other items is a special 1990s keeper kit.
