On Pitch: Stunning Palermo 20-21 120th Anniversary Kit Revealed

Update: Palermo debuted their new 120th anniversary shirt earlier today against Bari (1-1). This will be the only time Palermo wear the anniversary jersey.

We have kit news from the Serie C as the new Kappa Palermo 2020-2021 120th anniversary kit was released today. This limited-edition Palermo 20-21 120th anniversary shirt will only be worn once, against Bari on December 23.

Palermo was originally founded on 1 November 1900 as Anglo Palermitan Athletic and Football Club since Englishman brought football to the Mediterranean island. More recently, Palermo was exluded from Serie B in 2019, due to financial irregularities, and was re-founded in Serie D.

Kappa Palermo 20-21 120th Anniversary Kit

This is the Palermo 2020-2021 120th anniversary football shirt, made by Kappa.

Closely inspired by one of the first logos of one of Italy's oldest football clubs, the Kappa Palermo 20-21 120th anniversary football shirt combines a blue and a white half with a very traditional lace-up collar that features a black and a pink half to implement the colors Palermo adopted when they were renamed to Palermo Foot-Ball Club.

The sleeve cuffs share this theme, while Kappa's logo on the right chest is golden. A special Palermo logo that combines the current logo with the former shape graces the left chest.

Blue shorts and white socks complete the new Kappa Palermo 20-21 120th anniversary kit.

From December 18, the special-edition Palermo 2020-21 120th anniversary jersey will only be obtainable by physically visiting SiamoAquile Bar&Store at Stadio Renzo Barbara, in Sicily. The shirt will be available online at a later point of time if there is stock left.
