Update: Betis wore the special-edition Kappa jersey in their pre-season match against AS Roma on Saturday night. The club created special classic numbers for the kit.

Following up on the retro-infused fourth kit that was presented in December, Betis and Kappa have launched another special-edition jersey in January 2021, this one dedicated to the club's greatest supporters.

This is the Betis 2020-2021 special shirt, made by Kappa.
A clean look, the Kappa Betis 2020-2021 special shirt combines the classic green-white Betis look with a template that's reminiscent of the brand's creations from the late 1990s / early 200s. The stripes carry over onto the back and sleeves of the shirt.
The Kappa Real Betis 2020-2021 special shirt is dedicated to those club supporters that chose to donate their season ticket payment to the club after it became clear that there would be no matches with supporters in the stadium. Their names are printed all over the shirt.
Betis 21 Special Jersey - Kit Font
A limited-edition offering, the Kappa Real Betis 20-21 special shirt was available to be reserved until January 31. The fans who donated to the club had a 50% discount on the €50 RRP.

Sunderland is The Only Premier League Club Without A Front-of-Shirt Sponsor
Heading into Gameweek 2, Sunderland remains the sole Premier League side with both their chest and sleeve sponsorship slots left blank.
Due to the ban on front-of-shirt gambling sponsors coming into effect for the 2026/27 season, W88 was unable to continue its partnership with Sunderland, while their Live Score Bet sleeve deal was not renewed.
Ahead of the new season, three Premier League clubs were still searching for front-of-shirt sponsors: Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, and Sunderland. However, Nottingham secured a deal with Marex just in time, while The Blues announced Circle Internet Group right after Gameweek 1 - leaving the Black Cats as the only side yet to find a replacement.

Suwon Samsung Bluewings 2026 Third Kit Released
K League 2 side Suwon Samsung Bluewings have officially launched their 2026 third kit, completing the club's full wardrobe for the season in their first year with Umbro following their switch from Puma.
The new Umbro Suwon Samsung Bluewings 2026 third shirt introduces a sleek and refined aesthetic, based on a deep navy colorway. The front of the shirt incorporates subtle tonal horizontal striping and textures, complemented by centrally aligned branding that includes the Umbro wordmark, the club crest, and the Samsung Galaxy S26 sponsor logo. Alongside the outfield jersey, a matching silver-grey goalkeeper variant with dark navy trim was also unveiled.
The Suwon Samsung Bluewings 2026 third kit will make its official on-pitch debut on September 6, 2026, in a K League 2 clash against Chungnam Asan FC.

Giant Adidas Three Stripes on Long-Sleeve Kits Overwhelm Aesthetic
Adidas introduced enlarged Three Stripes across its performance templates ahead of the 2026 World Cup, rolling the look out across club teams for the 26-27 season. Designed to maximize on-pitch brand visibility, the wider striping measures around 18mm across. However, its competitive rollout has drawn criticism from kit enthusiasts and fans who feel the oversized proportions overwhelm the aesthetic balance of modern kits.
The visual disruption is especially noticeable on long-sleeved shirts. When worn on the pitch by players like Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, the thick white stripes command the shoulders and arms, dwarfing surrounding elements like the collar and sleeve patches. While short-sleeved shirts offer breaks in coverage, the continuous run of oversized stripes down full-length sleeves makes the branding feel excessively dominant.
Despite the pushback, Adidas will retain this oversized stripe template through at least the 27-28 campaign.
