Indistinguishable Due to Fully White Uniform: Turkish Team Sivasspor Vanishes in Snowstorm of Istanbul
Earlier today, current league champions Istanbul BB faced Sivasspor on matchday 18 of Turkey's Süper Lig. Istanbul BB drew the game 1-1 at home making the title defence even less likely as they now trail by 12 with tied league leaders Besiktas and Fenerbahce having a game in hand.
However, it was not the footballing performance that caught our eyes, but Sivasspor's team, who played another trick on Istanbul BB by wearing completely white uniforms that started to match the color of the grass and the air as the game progressed and the blizzard got heavier.
As pictures of television screens prove it was even harder for the audience at home to distinguish Sivasspor and the snow who formed a cohesive unit.
Of course, Sivasspor could have worn a different jersey, but this was probably a thought through stunt on the home team after closely paying attention to the weather forecast. In fact, it did not snow when the game kicked off.
