Next-Gen Nike Phantom GT 2 Launch Boots Leaked
- Release Date: Nike will launch the next-generation Phantom GT 2 football boots in July or early August 2021.
- Design: The launch edition features a white base with a modern color-block design in black, orange, and yellow, with a multi-language Nike Football print on the inside.
- Technology: The Phantom GT 2 boots are technically similar to the first generation, with the primary difference being a more pronounced upper structure.
Nike will release the next-generation Nike Phantom GT 2 football boots in July / early August 2021 already. Now the first pictures of the launch edition of the next-generation Nike Phantom GT 2 cleats got leaked. Thanks to Gol de Sergio / Ofoball.
It is important to know that the leaked pictures show a lower-tier version. They come with a classic tongue and some other differences. Prototypes of the next-gen Nike Phantom GT 2 worn by players already gave us a look at the high-end version.
The all-new Nike Phantom GT football boot silo was released in August 2020. Designed for the modern striker, the Nike Phantom GT soccer cleats are headlined by Kai Havertz, Kevin De Bruyne, and Harry Kane.
Nike Phantom GT 2 Elite
This is the next-gen Nike Phantom GT 2.
The launch edition of the Nike Phantom GT 2 Elite has a remarkable design. They combine a white base with a modern color-block design in black, orange, and yellow.
On the inside of the cleats is the Swoosh. The red (officially Bright Crimson) Swoosh comes with an all-over print reading Nike Football in different languages.
The official color combo is "White / Black / Bright Crimson / Pink Blast".
In fact, the color scheme is the same as a leaked next-gen Nike Tiempo Legend 9 boot and Mercurial Superfly. They are part of the same pack.
The only tech difference could be the upper structure
In terms of tech, the new Phantom GT 2 boots from Nike are practically identical to the first generation. They again have an off-center lacing system and a synthetic upper layer for ultimate accuracy.
The biggest (and only?) difference between the first-gen cleats is the upper structure. The second-gen Nike Phantom GT 2 has a more pronounced upper with <-shaped for better control.
The sole plate appears to be the same as the sole plate of the first generations.

Just as the first generation, the next-gen Nike Phantom GT II football boots are released as low-cut and high-cut versions.
The next-generation Nike Phantom GT 2 boots are set to be available from June / July 2021.
