Bayern München Debuts FIFA Club World Cup Champions Badge

Update: Bayern Münich has just worn their new FIFA Club World Cup Champions Badge against Arminia Bielefeld. The game itself was a very entertaining affair with chances on both ends of the pitch with the special badge nicely standing out during a blizzard.

On February 11 2021, Bayern Munich won the FIFA World Club cup. This not only meant that the club managed to win all six major of 2020 but also that they are able to add a new badge on their kits.

AC Milan were the first team to receive the FIFA Club World Cup winners badge in 2007, followed by Manchester United, Barcelona - on three different occasions - Inter, Corinthians, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid (2014, 2016-2018) and Liverpool (2019).

Bayern Munich Gets 2020 FIFA Club World Cup Winners Badge

Straight after the final, Bayern Munich launched their kits with the world champions badge. The golden badge is placed in the center between the Adidas logo and the club crest, as you would expect.

Liverpool was only allowed to wear the badge in UEFA competitions and one single EPL match

However, losing the FIFA badge has no impact on Liverpool's kits, at least in the Premier League. Liverpool FC was only allowed to wear the badge in UEFA competitions and in one single Premier League game last season.

FC Bayern Munich will debut the kits with the golden FIFA Club World Cup Champions Badge against DSC Arminia Bielefeld tomorrow, while Liverpool FC will be not able to sport the badge in next day's Champions League match against RB Leipzig.

Baayern will wear the badge in all competitions in 2021

The golden FIFA badge is available at no extra cost at Bayern Munich's website until February 14 2021.
