Macron to Replace Adidas at Cadiz?

"Everything indicates" that Cádiz CF and Adidas are set to part ways after the current season, putting an end to a five year partnership, according to a report from Spain.

This news comes despite the fact that Adidas and Cadiz announced an extension until 2023 in April 2020. According to the report, there are doubts about the validity of the contract "due to possible breaches" by Adidas.

Macron to replace Adidas?

Reportedly, it is Macron who would replace Adidas to produce the Cádiz kits starting in the 2021-22 season. The Italian brand already supplies the likes of Real Sociedad, Levante and Deportivo La Coruña in Spain, while also producing the kits worn by the Spanish referees.

Everything seems fairly speculative at the moment, but it's not hard to imagine Macron being interested in picking up another European first-division team. We've also seen that existing contracts don't have to mean a lot for kit supplier deals - e.g. with Roma's move away from Nike or when Chelsea left Adidas for Nike.
