The Adidas Girondins Bordeaux 2021-22 away jersey is mainly white, combined with black for logos. The standout feature is a line drawing of the Blue lion.

The stunning lion design is inspired by the "Lion" bleu, a modern art sculpture in Bordeaux.

Le Lion de Vailhan (Blue lion) is a 6m high modern art sculpture standing in the Place Stalingrad in La Bastide, Bordeaux. It is an eye-catching sculpt and completely out of place against the grey concrete of Stalingrad. The Lion has been in place since 2005.
