Confirmed: Superstitious Chelsea Revert to 20-21 Home Kit for 2021 Champions League Final

Update: A video shared on Chelsea's social media channels has confirmed that the Blues will wear their 2020-21 home kit in the Champions League Final, reverting back to the kit after the unsuccessful debut in the FA Cup Final.

Chelsea to Wear 'Old' Home Kit in Champions League Final Against Man City

The video shows the kit for the final, confirming that it's the 20-21 home shirt with a close-up at the start. The goalkeepers will also wear their green 2020-21 kit.

This info confirms an earlier picture shared by UEFA which indicated that both teams would wear their 2020-21 home jerseys.

With Chelsea being the away team, Man City are allowed first choice for their attire and earlier rumors had suggested that Chelsea could line up in their blue and red third kit.

Instead, we will now see both teams in their first-choice kits - just as it's usually the case when they meet in the Premier League, including earlier this month.

They already debuted next season's 21-22 home kit in the FA Cup Final loss to Leicester City but reverted to the 20-21 home kit for the league match against the same opponents.
