Puma Interested In Replacing Nike At Barcelona
Puma have shown interest in becoming Barça's kit sponsor, according to a report from journalist Albert Nadal of Catalan newspaper Diari ARA.
Barca's 2026 Nike Deal To Be Ended Early?
Nike has been sponsoring FC Barcelona since 1998 when the Swoosh replaced Kappa.
Barça have a contract with Nike until 2026. The Barça Nike ten-year deal was signed in 2016, worth a fixed sum of 105 million euros each year, which can grow up to 155 million euros per year with bonuses.
There was no official contact between Barca and Puma yet
According to Ara, both parties want to sit down and review their agreement.
Puma would be interested in becoming the official sponsor of Barcelona but there have not been any official contacts yet.
Nike want to renegotiate the annual amount it pays to the club
Barça want more autonomy in some areas, like self-management of e-commerce, while Nike want to renegotiate the annual amount it pays to the club.
Ara also says that it is difficult to imagine, at least for the next two seasons, that FC Barcelona could break the link with the American giant.

Portuguesa 2026 Third Kit Released - Tribute to Portugal Ahead of 2026 World Cup
Brazilian club Associação Portuguesa de Desportos, commonly known as Portuguesa, has officially launched its new third kit for the 2026 season. Produced by technical sponsor Joma, the new uniform pays direct homage to the Portuguese national team, celebrating the club's deep historical roots as Portugal prepares to compete in the upcoming 2026 World Cup.
The new Portuguesa 2026 third jersey closely mirrors the classic look of the Portuguese national team, featuring a vibrant crimson red base enhanced by subtle jacquard detailing that provides a sense of movement to the fabric. The shirt is structured with a classic polo collar adorned with red and white edging and a green front point insert. The sleeves remain red with contrasting green underarm panels, while the cuffs match the collar's red and white trim.
Further solidifying the international tribute, the official coat of arms of Portugal is prominently displayed on the nape of the neck above the white player numbering. The alternative uniform is completed by green shorts and red socks, finalizing the classic Portuguese color scheme.
The kit is set to make its on-pitch debut this Saturday, May 16th, in a match against Água Santa.
