Premier League 21-22 Kit Battle - Small Brands Resurface
The 30th season of the Premier League will start this weekend. Before the new season kicks off, we want to take a look at which brands will dominate the kit battle in the 2021-2022 Premier League with a great infographic by @planetafobal.
2021-2022 Premier League Kit Battle
The 21-22 Premier League kit battle is very competitive since sportswear giants Adidas and Puma have less teams under contract, while Nike did not manage to add more teams to their portfolio.
Sportswear giants Adidas (4), Nike (4) and Puma (2) only supply 10 of 20 clubs, or 50% of all teams. One year ago, Adidas, Nike and Puma had an astonishing market power sponsoring 15 of 20 clubs.
Adidas and Nike lead the battle with 4 teams each
The other half of the Premier League relies on other suppliers, specifically Umbro (3 teams), Castore (2 teams), Hummel (2 teams), Kappa, Kelme and Joma (1 team each).
Compared to last season, the dominance of Adidas, Puma and Nike plummets - they made the kits for 15 teams in 2020-21.

Adidas Greece 2026-27 Away Kit Debuted
The Adidas Greece 2026-27 away kit has officially made its debut. The Greek players wore their away kit in last night's 2-2 draw against Sweden.
Unfortunately, this kit will not be seen at the 2026 World Cup, as Greece failed to qualify for the tournament.
The kit features a deep blue base, complemented by subtle tonal vertical striping integrated directly into the fabric. A thick white crossed collar provides a stark contrast, matching the white Adidas stripes on the shoulders and the classic Trefoil logo on the right chest. As a nod to the Hellenic Football Federation's centenary, the back of the collar includes the Greek text "ΧΙΛΙΑ ΕΝΝΙΑΚΟΣΙΑ ΕΙΚΟΣΙ ΕΞΙ," which translates to 1926, the federation's founding year.
