Serie A 21-22 Kit Battle - Big Brand & Shirt Diversity, Italian Brands Dominate
The Italian Serie A is the last big European league that kicked off. With the first matchday being played this weekend, Planeta Fobal has created a nice infographic of the 2021-22 Serie A kit makers.
Serie A 2021-22 Kit Battle
Just as in the 2021-2022 season, it is the Italian brands that make the kits for most of the teams (12 of 20), while the big teams still wear kits from the big global brands.
The big teams are sponsored by the big brands
Macron leads with five teams, with Lazio being the biggest to wear kits from "The Hero" company. Kappa again comes second with four teams.
Serie A's giants are again sponsored by the giant brands - Juventus (Adidas), Inter (Nike), AC Milan (Puma), and AS Roma (New Balance).
