Adidas Cheaply Removes Two Stars From Argentina Kits For Futsal World Cup
The 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup is taking place in Lithuania currently. Now the Adidas kits of defending champions Argentina have caused criticism.
Argentina won the 2016 Futsal World Cup. Therefore, they have the right to wear one star on their shirt as they won the title once in their history.
Adidas Provides Argentina With Makeshift Kits For FIFA Futsal World Cups
As spotted by Marca de Gol, the Adidas Argentina 2021 Futsal World Cup jerseys were not specially made for the team. Instead, they feature an ugly silhouette of the two stars taken out of the usual Argentina jerseys.
In the center of the Adidas Argentina 2021 Futsal World Cup uniforms is the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup winners badge.
Meanwhile, Argentina's futsal coach Matias Lucuix is wearing Adidas gear with two stars.
