"Ancient Egypt" Home & Away Kits Released - Based on Most Popular Concepts of All Time
Teaming up with hobby designer Cenk Ünal, who created a set of viral Egypt concepts earlier this year, Philadelphia-based Icarus FC launched a set of Ancient Egypt shirts a few days ago.
Both shirts are based on the same template and feature various details inspired by ancient Egyptian history and iconography. They are covered in hieroglyphics and a gold wave pattern that reflects the River Nile enters from the sides.
They are closely based on Cenk's Nike Egypt concepts that proved immensely popular and to this date amassed more than 150k likes on Twitter.

Thierry Henry Honored With Street Name in New York City Ahead of 2026 World Cup
French football legend Thierry Henry has been honored with a street named after him in New York City. Located in the heart of Manhattan at the intersection of 50th Street and 6th Avenue near Rockefeller Center, the street has been temporarily co-named "Thierry Henry Way." The tribute was officially celebrated by his former Major League Soccer club, the New York Red Bulls, who shared images of the newly installed street sign on June 10, 2026.
The dedication is part of a legislative package passed by the New York City Council to prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and celebrate the tournament's arrival in the region. Henry, an Arsenal all-time leading goalscorer and World Cup winner, responded to the announcement on Instagram, calling the recognition an honor and referring to New York as his favorite city. The temporary landmark serves as a fitting tribute to his legacy in the MLS and builds anticipation for the upcoming global tournament across North America.
