Inter Milan Forced To Change Snake For Champions League
Update: Inter is currently wearing their Nike 2021-22 away kit without the eye-catching snake design. However, Nike did not completely remove it - it is still there but in light grey.
Inter Milan will wear their Nike 2021-22 away kit away against Shakhtar this evening. However, it will look very different from the regular kit almost certainly.
Inter Milan Likely Forced By UEFA To Remove Snake From Nike 21-22 Away Kit
As visible in the UEFA Youth League match between Shakhtar and Inter earlier today, Inter had to remove the snake from their Nike 21-22 away kit.
The exact reason why Internazionale had to remove the snake is not known yet but it seems to be sure that it is because of the UEFA Equipment Regulations.
A closer look at the altered Inter kits reveals that leftovers of the snake graphic are still there. It seems to be a last-minute change.
In the Serie A match away against Fiorentina last week, Inter was of course wearing the Nike 21-22 away kit with the snake.
Watch out for Inter's kit in tonight's Champions League match against FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
