FC Barcelona to Sign Socios Sleeve Sponsorship Deal

FC Barcelona are in negotiations with Chiliz, creators of various Fan Tokens under the Socios brand for a possible sleeve sponsorship deal, Mundo Deportivo report.
Barcelona are currently without a shirt sponsor after Beko reduced their deal to just the training shirt, going from paying 19 to just 10 million per season in the process.
As per the report, the club have received an important offer from Chiliz to become the new FC Barcelona sleeve sponsor effective immediately. If agreed, the deal would initially run until the end of the current season, with an option to extend it.
It sounds like a deal could be announced very soon, with Barcelona joining the likes of Inter and Valencia who have already signed (main) shirt sponsor deals with the crypto company.
Although it's not known yet, we would expect the deal to promote the "$BAR" fan token, which was launched a few years ago already, just like in the cases of Inter and Valencia.
