The new contract will be the largest commercial agreement in U.S. Soccer history and one of Nike’s largest football investments globally.

Its' aim is to grow the women's football further and continue the support for inclusivity of the sport in the U.S.

U.S. Soccer President Cindy Parlow Cone speaks about the agreement: "This strategic partnership is a sign of soccer’s importance in the United States and the value that both Nike and U.S. Soccer place in each other."

"Nike has been such a positive partner for U.S. Soccer for a long time and has played a major role in the growth of the Federation as well as putting tremendous support behind many of our players over the years."

“Nike looks forward to building on our more than 25-year history with U.S. Soccer to shape the future of sport at all levels,” said Becca Kerr, Nike VP and GM of North America Women’s. “We want more kids – especially girls – to fall in love with sport because they had positive early experiences with soccer. Growing the game starts with investing in inclusivity.”

The deal is one of the first signed after U.S. Soccer split from MLS-owned Soccer United Marketing (SUM), who has handled most of its commercial rights over the past two decades. Starting at the end of next year, the group will also bring its media rights, non-apparel corporate partnerships and consumer product rights in house.
