Predictions of Teamwear Kits for 22-23 - German Clubs - Frankfurt, Hertha and More

With Nike, Adidas and Puma having released their teamwear collections for 2022-23 recently, we thought it would be a good time to look at what might be created with these jerseys. Here are some of our teamwear kit predictions for Germany's clubs.
Eintracht Frankfurt
Eintracht Frankfurt received teamwear as their third kits for seven seasons in a row, with the streak being broken in 21-22 thanks to carrying over the previous away jersey. However, if this is not done again, Frankfurt will likely have another teamwear shirt next season, something that has also always been the case for their cup/international shirts.

Hertha BSC
Just like Frankfurt, Hertha's third kits have been based on Nike's teamwear for the past seven seasons now. There is nothing hinting at a change for 2022-23, so we gave them their standard red third outfit.

FC Schalke 04
It is unlikely that giants Schalke 04 would receive teamwear as they are definitely going to have kits created using Adidas miteam. However, we thought it would still be interesting to take a look at what could be done using just Adidas teamwear.

Freiburg re-signed with Nike last year and it seems as though they will be receiving another teamwear jersey for their 22-23 third kit.

Augsburg get the same treatment from Nike as Freiburg does. Their 2022-23 third kit will also be based on teamwear.

Heidenheim usually receive a bespoke home kit, however the 22-23 away and third shirts will be based on teamwear.

Aue regularly have all three of their jerseys based on Nike's teamwear options.

Oita Trinita 26-27 Home & Away Kits Released
Japanese J2 League club Oita Trinita has officially revealed its new 2026-27 home and away kits. Produced by Puma, the new shirts were launched under the slogan "Wearing Oita's pride, fighting," tying deeply into the local identity of the club.
The Oita Trinita 2026-2027 home kit features the club's traditional blue and yellow color scheme with a unique cross design. The away kit offers a contrasting alternative, while using the same design.
The new Puma Oita Trinita 2026-27 home and away jerseys are available for primary pre-sale from July 4 to July 7. Fans who order during this window are expected to receive their kits in time for the opening match of the season.
England 2026 World Cup Goalkeeper Third Kit - On-Pitch Debut
Jordan Pickford debuted England 2026 World Cup third goalkeeper kit againts DR Congo. The green shirt have the exact same design as the blue and yellow shirt used from the Group Stage.
This England goalkeeper kit is based on the newest Nike GK template, featuring a large, distinctive star graphic at the center, complemented by an all-over lions graphic pattern, a powerful symbol deeply rooted in England’s football heritage.

Kylian Mbappé has trained in the Nike Mercurial Superfly 11 'Scorpion', also sharing the boot in his social media story. SV Meppen 26-27 Pre-Season Kits Revealed
German club SV Meppen has unveiled its new pre-season kits for the 2026-27 campaign. The new strips are produced by Jako, marking the brand's second season supplying the Regionalliga Nord side after taking over from Nike ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The release includes a set of pre-season shirts that the team will wear during their summer preparation matches. While the official home and away kits for the upcoming season are expected to follow later in the summer, these jerseys give fans an early look at Jako's designs for the club this year.
