South Sudan Sign Macron Kit Deal
We have kit news from African football as South Sudan have signed a kit deal with Macron. The announcement was made in late December of 2021 and sees Macron further expand its operations in Africa.
South Sudan Join Macron
It was announced at the end of 2021 that Macron are partnering with the South Sudanese football association. The country was only formed in 2011, already having a national team, and joined FIFA a year later.
So far the nation's kits have been produced by AMS, an interesting company that focuses on producing kits for developing countries. Find out more about AMS here.
Since 2020, Garman, a brand from Italy, have been supplying South Sudan with shirts. Now the South Sudanese FA are taking the next big step, joining one of the global leaders in sportswear.
Marking the South Sudanese FA's 10th anniversary, Macron have signed a multi-year deal. South Sudan will wear Macron-produced kits at the Africa Cup of Nations 2023, for which they managed to qualify.
