Nigeria have become one of Nike's most important international teams in recent years, receiving unique shirts and bespoke lifestyle collections that many other nations would be jealous of. Thanks to @esvaphane, we can share leaked images of their upcoming anthem jacket.

Nike 2022 Nigeria Anthem Jacket

The official product images show a green full-zip jacket with a black triangular print all over. The triangles are very likely taken from Nigerian tribal imagery, which has been a source of design inspiration for Nike's Nigeria items over the last few years. An elasticated waist and pockets on the front are some of the practical features of the jacket. Branding is minimal, with only a white Nike logo on and Nigerian Football Federation badge traditionally positioned on the chest, with stylised Naija text present below the collar on the back of the jacket. The stand-up collar is a greenish grey colour.

If the last few years are anything to go by, this jacket will be just one of a number of interesting pieces of Nike's 2022 Nigeria collection. However, with Nigeria having failed to qualify for this year's World Cup, the hype around the releases and the overall sales may take a hit compared to 2020 and 2018.
