No More Kappa - Genoa to Become Castore's First Italian Club

Having launched their redesigned club badge earlier this week, there is more change to come for Genoa. According to reports in Italy, they will sign a deal with Castore, becoming the English brand's first club in Italy.

Genoa to Switch to Castore

Genoa have been wearing Kappa gear since the 19-20 season, before which their kits were supplied by fellow Italian brand, Lotto. A 19th placed finish in Serie A means that their maiden shirts by Castore will be worn in Serie B, although both parties will be hoping for a swift return to the top flight. Genoa are a club with a fixed home shirt design that never sees too much experimentation, so we expect Castore to play it safe with a standard red and navy half and half shirt.

Although the deal has not been confirmed yet, if it goes ahead as expected (along with the rumoured Feyenoord contract), it would mean that Castore would be present in six different countries for the 22-23 season, having signed a number of teams as part of their European expansion plans.
