Germany will face Japan, Spain, and Costa Rica in the 2022 World Cup. They are the "home" team against Japan and the "away" team against Spain and Costa Rica.

The alternative Adidas Germany 2022 World Cup home shorts are white with metallic copper logos and black Three Stripes. They are available to buy via Adidas' official website.

White shorts are not traditional for Germany but are being used because of FIFA's dark/light kit policy regularly. In 2014, Germany's home kit was combined with white shorts by default, a decision not liked by many.

Germany and Costa Rica met for the last time in the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup. Back then, Germany wore black shorts. We expect the 2022 World Cup match to feature the same color combos as five years ago.

Back in 2024, UEFA introduced a redesigned Champions League patch with a outer black border to improve visibility on light-colored jerseys. Since United missed out on Champions League football during the first two seasons of the new design, the club's kit staff might simply still be getting used to the updated spec. The new UD Almería home kit for the 26-27 season has been officially released. Made by Macron, the kit enters the second year of the technical partnership between the Italian brand and the Spanish club.
The Macron UD Almería 26-27 home shirt features the club's traditional red and white stripes, incorporating a unique design element with the Indalo symbol subtly integrated within the red stripes. It has a classic round neck collar, with the club crest and the Macron Hero logo both fully embroidered on the chest. The front features the SMC Group sponsor logo, while Kudu appears as the sleeve sponsor. The back of the shirt includes a solid white panel to ensure clear visibility for player numbers.
The club promoted the launch with the phrase 'Mucho más que un símbolo' (Much more than a symbol), highlighting the cultural significance of the Indalo to the region of Almería.
