A-League 22-23 Kit Overview - No Nike or Adidas

Update - October 8, 2022: With the A-League having kicked off today, several more kits have been released since last week.

Update - October 1, 2022: Today we want to take a look at the A-League 22-23 kit selection, with the majority of them having been released. The A-League will kick off on October 7, 2022.



The kit supplier 'battle' is tied up quite evenly, as local brand Paladin outfit two clubs, just like Macron and Kappa. Nike and Adidas each no longer have any partnerships in the A-League, giving other smaller brands a chance to shine.

Adelaide United

Home




The UCAN Adelaide United 2022-2023 home shirt utilizes a darker shade of red than usual with a re-coloured club crest matching the look in white and red. The entire shirt is covered in a repeating dark triangle graphic, while gold is applied to the sleeve cuffs and inside of the polo collar.

The UCAN Adelaide United 2022-2023 away shirt was designed in-house and has a 'bone white' base colour. The iconic South Australian Piping Shrike, the club's founding year (2003) and initials are subtly embedded all over the front.

Brisbane Roar

The NB Brisbane Roar 2022-2023 jersey is mainly orange with black raglan cut sleeves. Black sponsor logos, orange sleeve cuffs and a orange V-neck with black piping add to the appearance.

Introducing a dull look, the New Balance Brisbane Roar 2022-2023 away football shirt combines a grey base with an orange & maroon sash running from the upper right to the lower left. The sleeve cuffs and V-neck continue the two-tone look.

Third




The New Balance Brisbane Roar 2022-2023 third shirt features a simple look. It is mainly black with orange accents such as the V-neck and sleeve cuffs, while the majority of sponsor logos are white.

Central Coast

The Paladin Central Coast Mariners 2022-2023 home shirt is similar to last season's with a navy chest hoop over a yellow base. The sleeves are navy and cut off at the shoulders, which also have a navy panel on them. The yellow collar has elegant navy trim to round it off.

The Paladin Central Coast Mariners 2022-23 away jersey is mainly navy with subtle stripes on the front. Yellow down the sides, at the sleeve cuffs and for the collar detailing creates a clean look.

The Paladin Central Coast Mariners 22-23 third shirt has an Ajax-like design with a wide white block through the middle and navy on the outside. Yellow and navy are perfectly combined for the collar once again.

Macarthur FC

The Kelme Macarthur FC 2022-2023 shirt comes with classic black stripes on a white base. These wide stripes have ochre trim, the golden yellow colour that appears on the club crest. The stripes are interrupted by a white rectangle for the sponsor logo, whose colours match the look well.

The Kelme Macarthur FC 2022-2023 cup shirt is dark grey with a gradient towards a black stripe in the middle. This comes in the form of many small diamond shape and outlines.

Melbourne City

The Puma Melbourne City FC 2022-23 home shirt is sky blue with a diagonal zig zag pattern that fades in and out. Puma's logo appears in the centre of the chest and on each sleeve, with the club crest on the left of the chest and the A-League logo on the right.

The Puma Melbourne City 2022-2023 away shirt has a white base with two-tone red stripes on the front. The sleeves and back are plain white and all logo placement is the same as the home shirt.

The Puma Melbourne City FC 2022-23 third shirt is maroon coloured with lime green used for the Puma logos, club and A-League badges. All sponsors appear in white. Large, dark chevrons are printed on the torso.

Inspired by the club's first ever kit from 2005-06, the Macron Melbourne Victory 2022-23 home jersey is mainly navy with a subtle, wide chevron on the front. It is made up of zig-zagging elements, but nonetheless the chevron is not prominent.

The Legend Sportswear Newcastle Jets 22-23 home jersey is gold with navy trim on the collar, cuffs and hem. A honeycomb pattern partially covers the shirt with gaps left in between the sections. A thin red line is part of each cuff, while all logos on the Legend Sportswear Newcastle Jets 2022-2023 home jersey are navy.
