Adidas Messi 2022 World Cup Boots Leaked?
Update: We can leak the Adidas X Speedportal Adizero+ football boots. They are a remake of the old Adidas Adizero 2010 World Cup Messi signature soccer cleats. Big thanks to Ofoball.
Messi might wear these in the 2022 World Cup
We have no info yet if Messi will wear the boots in the 2022 World Cup. However, it appears unlikely as Messi just switched to the Adidas X Speedportal.1 Al Rihla 2022 World Cup soccer cleats (in a modified version with a different upper and tongue).

Adidas are set to launch a modern remake of the iconic purple boots worn by Messi at the 2010 World Cup.

The Adidas X Speedportal Adizero+ boots are set to be released in the coming weeks leading up to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which will be Messi's last as a player.

Check out the original Adidas Messi 2010 World Cup cleats below.
Based on the X Speedportal model, the Adidas Messi 2010 World Cup boots remake combines purple and green for the upper, with a white sole plate and trim in bright green and a bit of black.
The official colorway of the Adidas X Speedportal Adizero+ is "Unity Purple / White / Signal Green".
In terms of features, the boots appear to be identical to the regular, laceless Adidas X Speedportal+, which curiously is not worn by Messi himself, who prefers the Speedportal.1.

It won't be the first time that Adidas launch a modern boot inspired by the iconic colorway of the Messi's 2010 World Cup cleats: they released a Nemeziz in this style just before Messi won his sixth Ballon d'Or in 2019.
Would you like Messi to wear these in the Qatar 2022 World Cup (of course in the laces version)? What are your thoughts on Adidas releasing a pair of X Speedportal closely inspired by the Adizero boots worn by Messi at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa? Comment below.

Puma Kits Keep Ripping at the 2026 World Cup
Puma is facing significant criticism at the 2026 World Cup as multiple national team jerseys have easily ripped during matches.
Incidents involving players from Czechia, Morocco, Egypt, and Paraguay have highlighted an ongoing durability issue with the brand's latest kits - every torn shirt in the tournament so far belongs to a Puma-sponsored team.
The Puma 2026 World Cup kits incorporate the latest version of PUMA's ULTRAWEAVE “Thermoadapt” technology, which obviously is not tear-resistant enough.
The recurring wardrobe malfunctions have resulted in terrible PR for the German sportswear manufacturer and even prompted the viral resurgence of Xherdan Shaqiri's infamous quote from Euro 2016, where he joked that he hopes Puma does not produce condoms.
